What’s Wrong With The Turtle?

16th July 2019

Back in the 70s, babies / toddlers weren’t given glasses and their eyes weren’t tested. So in hindsight, I think I was pretty myopic as a toddler. I drew tiny circles in one of my dad’s rare books when I was two. He didn’t believe a two year old was capable of such a thing […]

Creative Process Series – INTUITION

13th February 2019

This is the creative process for my ‘Intuition’ card. Firstly, I wanted to do something that depicted the way the brain fires in rapid patterns. I think this is how intuition works in a way. The brain fires so quickly, it seems like an idea or a solution to a problem comes from the big […]

Creativity Masterclass

3rd December 2018

Thanks to all of my wonderful participants in November’s creativity masterclass. We worked on deep listening, discovered the power of questions, followed the ‘five whys’, and reconnected with the creative process through play and joy. Christmas is a wonderful time to explore your creativity by making gifts, food, wrapping presents, decorating your home and tree […]

Deutsche Bahn ‘Passenger’ Advert

4th October 2018

I loved working on this advert for Deutsche Bahn. Working again with the fab director Hanna Marie Heidrich. It stars Nico Rosberg who is a Formula One driver. He did an amazing job and I think he looks like a proper dancer. We shot everything on a real train which was challenging, but I think […]

The Festival (film) 2018

30th August 2018

One of the recent films I worked on (The Festival, starring Joe Thomas and directed by The Inbetweener’s Iain Morris) came out a couple of weeks ago. It’s done very well and the reviews have been very positive.  A couple of them mentioned the main scene I worked on, an English riff on ‘Magic Mike’, […]

Nike ‘Choose Go’

10th August 2018

I had a fab time working with my old friend Edgar Wright on this Nike Advert. Trying to get 300 runners to run in time not so easy! Still, it was a blast shooting all over LA, especially at 4am!

LOGOS Creative Process

1st August 2018

I’ve been waiting for feedback on one of my screenplays and decided to get back to working on my creativity deck. I’m hoping I might be able to finish it by the time I die…or perhaps sooner! In order to speed things along, I decided to make the card for the Guide of Logic (LOGOS) […]

E.ON Advert

29th June 2018

This job was very complex and interesting to pull off. I’m glad I met the wonderfully talented Hanna-Maria Heidrich on this. I think she’s definitely a director to pay attention to. It was also so nice to work with a couple of old friends too, the lovely and talented Janine Craig and Leighton Sharpe.

Just Eat Advert

7th December 2017

I had such a fab time working on this advert. It’s directed by Si and Ad (gotta say, I love those boys) and the lovely Anthony Trahearn assisted. I think it came out great.
